Women’s Centre at the Campus Community Garden

The Women’s Centre garden committee meets weekly around 1:30pm on Thursdays. We meet at the centre and walk over to the Campus Community Garden together, where we have our garden plot.

Today, we transplanted kale, broccoli, and swiss chard, did some weeding, and added green manure of comfrey and grass clippings into our unplanted areas. It was especially exciting to plant the kale and broccoli, which we started from seed in the CCG greenhouse over a month ago.

We welcome any women or gender variant folks to join us in learning to grow food together.
